How to clean / pressure wash a resin bound driveway?

To keep a resin bound surface in good condition, it's important to regularly clean it. You can use a stiff broom or a leaf blower to remove leaves, debris, and discourage moss growth on your resin driveway. Additionally, a light regular jet wash / pressure wash can be used to rinse the surface and get rid of any foreign objects, stains, and potentially harmful elements.

how do you clean your resin bound driveway

How Kamox recommends to jet wash / pressure wash a resin bound surface / driveway.

To clean / pressure wash your resin bound driveway, follow these simple steps:

  1. We recommend spraying with a flat nozzle, (not a turbo nozzle) to avoid causing damage to your surface.

  2. Use a jet wash / pressure washer with a pressure up to 150bar. Excessive pressure may damage your resin bound surface.

  3. be cool. We do not recommend using steam or hot water, as this could cause damage to your surface in the future.

  4. When spraying, your nozzle should be a minimum of 20cm from the surface. If a high-pressure jet wash / pressure washer is sprayed too closely, it may damage the surface.

  5. Spray using a back and forth “sweeping” motion.

  6. If available, we recommend using a surface cleaner, as this helps prevent damage to your surface and avoids leaving lines.

  7. We also recommend using a biocide to clean the surface and prevent future moss growth.
